9 Patch ‘n’ Apps 5×5 21, 22 from Virtual Quilter

Interesting design and interesting colours in the first design. Yesterday’s designs were very feminine, but these have at least a masculine touch in both blocks and colours.

My favourite for today is the second design.

If ever I get all the unfinished projects, and the planned projects, finished, I will be making quilts with some low contrast fabrics like the designs in this project file.

I love the low contrast blocks in the corners of the first design and the way the pieced blocks link up too.

Nicer borders on the second designs though.

9 Patch ‘n’ Apps 5×5 15, 16 from Virtual Quilter

First one looks neat and tidy, like a small well laid out town if you have an over developed imagination. Town square in the centre housing on each side, parks in the corners and country all round.

Love the second design … just as a nice quilt design!

Originally from the same project file as yesterday’s designs, these use the same blocks but there are only 25 blocks used in each design.
